Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions and answers for our prospective patients:

Q: What insurance do you accept?

A: Every insurance plan is different and coverage can vary by provider. We encourage all patients to educate themselves on what services are and are not covered by their insurance plan.

We will do our best to provide accurate pricing information based on your insurance plan coverage when we put together your treatment plan. We can also process insurance claims on your behalf.

Please view our Financing page for more information.

If your plan is not on this list it is very likely that we will still be able to see you. We accept most plans. Please call with any questions.

Q: Do I need time off work for dental visit?

A: Some procedures can be performed within a few hours so patients can go back to work the same day. Others may require some healing and recovery time, and the patient will need to take a day or two off work. We will discuss the recovery process during your visit.

Q: What should I expect on my first visit?

A: Your consultation with Dr. Yu will include a complete health evaluation, meeting with the hygienist, cleaning, and time with our Bellevue dentist. This is a good time to ask questions about different treatments and services we offer, and to learn more about our practice.

See our What to Expect from your Treatment Plan page for more info.

Q: How long will my treatment plan or procedures take?

A: Bellevue Overlake Dental provides several minimally-invasive procedures that offer much faster recovery times than many traditional procedures. The length of your treatment plan will depend on your overall health, recovery times, and the types of treatments you receive.

Q: What if I am too afraid to to go to the dentist?

A: Our Bellevue dentist understands that some people have fear and anxiety about going to the dentist. This is why we have created a space that is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Please talk to us about any fear or anxiety you are experiencing so that we can better serve you.
